My name is Jamila Kiwasi Bacchus I am a wife and mother of four (3 girls and 1 boy). I was initially introduced to the maternal population approximately 15 years ago. My experiences include but not limited to working with disabled adults, homeless, elderly and victims of domestic violence. I hold skills in one-on-one counseling, education and support to pregnant and parenting moms ages 13 years and up. Additional, experiences include implementing, training and facilitating childbirth education, wellness and long-term care workshops in hospitals, non-profit, school-based, government, community and residential settings. Throughout these wonderful years I grew more in love with the maternal world, which drew my interest in becoming a birth worker and women wellness consultant for others.
